Message	Nissan connecting rods are notoriously strong (compared to other manufacturers). The pistons are usually the point of failure (someone in one of the above posts mentions a melted ring land, which is very likely the case). Replace the pistons with your preferred brand of aftermarket forged units and enjoy.
